South Africa: fate of President Zuma to be settled in ANC leaders meeting

(MENAFN) In order to finally get out with a resolution for the future of South African President Jacob Zuma, governing ANC party leaders are to discuss the issue in a meeting.

BBC Africa Correspondent Andrew Harding has confirmed the National Executive Committee (NEC) to most probably call for the President to resign.

The matter was recognized by ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa as a source of "disunity and discord".

Following nine years of reign, the 75-year-old leader is ahead of several charges of corruption.
