Kuwait's top speaker back home from Cairo
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti National Assembly (parliament) Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim has returned home following participation in the Cairo-hosted Third Conference of Arab Parliament and Arab Parliamentary Speakers.
The speaker and his accompanying delegation were received at the airport by Deputy Speaker Isa Al-Kanderi, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Adel Al-Kharafi, Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Tareq Al-Kuni and Secretary-General of the National Assembly Allam Al-Kanderi.
The conference was attended by a number of heads of Arab parliaments and high-level political figures, led by Arab League Secretary-General Ahmad Abul-Gheit and IPU President Gabriela Barron. (end) ns.mt
