Jordan- Vandal arrested after slashing tyres of 15 cars
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 11 (Petra)--A man has been arrested after 15 families woke to discover a vandal had slashed their cars' tyres overnight.
A security source said that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) personnel had opened an investigation into the incident which took place in Irbid governorate, some 80km north of Amman.
A sharp knife or another tool was used to punch holes in the vehicles' tyres, flattening them completely.
Police said they suspected a man, who was later ambushed, and admitted to investigators that he had vandalized the vehicles. The case was referred for prosecution to proceed with legal action.
