(MENAFN) An outraged man of the age 35 has attacked 13 people with a knife in a crowded mall in the city, leading to the death of one person, Beijing police declared.
The city's Public Security Bureau stated that another 12 people were slightly wounded due to the attack.
The convict, identified only as Zhu, confessed that the attack was located in Joy City, a mall in Beijing's Xidan district, explaining his motive was to "vent his personal discontent".
Violations are known to often happen using knives or homemade bombs in China, for the Chinese law prohibits owning or trading any handgun.
