(MENAFN) Icelandic composer of the Theory of Everything Johann Johannsson was confirmed to have passed away at the age of 48 in Berlin.
The tragic news has been revealed by his representatives Redbird Music Management through a Facebook post "it is with profound sadness that we confirm the passing of our dear friend Johann."
The post continued "we have lost one of the most talented and brilliant people who we had the privilege of knowing and working with. May his music continue to inspire us."
The composer has led a successful life, with a Golden Globe rewarded for his score to the 2014 Stephen Hawking biopic and an Oscar and Bafta nomination for composing the soundtrack for the 2015 film Sicario.
