(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Fog and mist descended upon parts of UAE on Friday morning, according to the national met department's forecast for today.
The weather today will be fair to partly cloudy and hazy at times - with increasing amount of clouds over islands and some coastal areas.
Light to moderate winds over sea, with the relative humidity likely to increase during the night and early morning over some coastal and internal areas, with a chance of fog formation.
The sea will be moderate in the Arabian Gulf may rough at times by noontime and slight to moderate in Oman sea.
Temperatures will reach a maximum of 28C and a minimum of 5C.
Earlier this week, thick fog engulfed Dubai, Abu Dhabi,and other emirates causing extremely low visibility on the roads.
The NCMS warned about fog and low Thursday visibility of less than 500 meters, mostly in coastal areas.
Motorists were advised to drive carefully to avoid mishaps.
The weather forecast for Saturday will be the same as today.
