The World Egg Bank's Scientific Director To Speak In Egypt

Pomeroy, PhD, Scientific Director of The World Egg Bank, has been invited to participate and speak at the 3rd Upper Egypt Assisted Reproductive Conference (UEARS) taking place in Cairo, Egypt on February 21-23, 2018. Kimball O. Pomeroy, PhD has been invited to participate in the 3rd Upper Egypt Assisted Reproductive Conference (UEARS) that will be held February 21-23, 2018 in Cairo, Egypt.

The theme of this conference is 'Exploring the In Vivo and In Vitro Micro-Environment of Human Gametes and Embryos. Dr. Pomeroy is the chairperson for one of the sessions where he will be discussing improving vitrification outcomes in the laboratory and clinic. Vitrification of IVF oocytes is a freezing process that attempts to prevent water from forming ice crystals on the embryos and yield higher post-thaw survival rates.

Dr. Pomeroy is one of ten speakers invited from the United States. He is speaking amongst the most intelligent and innovative minds in the field of Reproductive Medicine.
