Pakistan- SC summons PTI spokesperson in Asma murder case


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Tuesday summoned Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary to the Supreme Court in Asma Rani murder case.

The chief justice remarked that let him come to witness proceedings in Asma rape and murder case who always claimed that KP police has an exemplary police force.

The chief justice remarked Fawad Chaudhry always criticize others therefore let him come to see how exemplary the KP police force was.

The chief justice asked if the phone records of the main suspect and his accomplice have been recovered.The director general of FIA informed the court that it has not been confirmed if the main suspect in the case was in Dubai or in Saudi Arabia.

He said that it seemed that the main accused had an iqama in Dubai. The chief justice asked if red warrants have been issued for the suspect. Chief Justice Saqib Nisar had expressed dissatisfication over the performance of KP police in last hearing.
