Jordan: customs fees on Jordanian products still collected by Iraq
(MENAFN) It was revealed by Director General Amman's Chamber of Industry Nael al-Husami that "Iraqi authorities are still collecting fees on Jordanian products."
The fees collection emerged even after Iraq made a resolution at the end of 2016 to not include Jordanian products in customs fares.
A recent list that covers 170 to be excused from customs fees was accepted by Iraqi authorities, Jordanian Trade and Finance Minister Ya'areb al-Qudah declared.
He also confirmed that more than 541 out of 750 Jordanian products were exempted from customs fees, products which were in a list Iraq received from Jordan.
