Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli soldiers Hebron


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Ramallah, Feb. 7 (Petra) - Dozens of Palestinian citizens early Wednesday were wounded and suffered suffocation in clashes with Israeli occupation forces in Halhul town north of the West Bank city of Hebron.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement today that violent clashes erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation troops after storming the house of the Palestinian martyr Hamzah Zamara.

During the confrontation, Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters and rubber bullets against the citizens, leaving dozens of them injured and suffocated, the PRCS added, noting that a number of the injured were transferred to hospitals in Hebron for treatment.
