Jordan: Man robs JDs29, 000 from Jordan Post


(MENAFN) Jordanian Post Office centers in al-Dulail, Zarqa area has been robbed by two armed men on Wednesday morning.

The robbers threatened workers using their weapons and stole JDs 24, 000 before fleeing the scene.

Jordan Post Offices provide several services including gathering bills of land and mobile lines, transferring money and saving accounts.

Security sources confirmed that Zarqa police officers are investigating the incident.
It's worth mentioning that a wave of robberies started in Jordan where Etihad Bank, Societe Generale Bank Jordan and two supermarkets were robbed recently.

Many say that this is caused by the governments decisions to raise the prices of essential table components.
