Jeddah airport records 9.4 percent increase in passenger traffic
(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia broke its record in 2017 at King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) with its passenger traffic.
It has recorded an increase of 9.4% with reaching 34 million passengers, from 31 million in 2016.
Flight traffic has achieved 3.46% growth, as 226,894 flights were operated, in comparison to 219,202 flights in 2016.
KAIA's statistical report also confirmed passengers traveling via North Terminal to have settled at 9.4 million last year, a 13.9% boost, while passengers traveling via South Terminal settled at 19.8 million, an 8.5% boost.
