Boeing gets over USD900m service orders

(MENAFN) Boeing declared on Tuesday that it has secured massive service orders worth over USD900 million with its regional and worldwide customers.

As the US aerospace company attends the Singapore Airshow, it seeks to increase revenue in its service business through its newly created Global Services division, which involves jet maintenance, repair and overhaul, digital aviation and analytics, and pilot training.

President and CEO of Boeing Global Services said: "Predicted growth for aerospace services in the Asia Pacific brings opportunities to partner with local industry to understand the region's greatest needs, invest in new capabilities to meet those needs, and then bring them to market quickly."

As part of deal with its local customers, Boeing signed a contract with China Southern Airlines and Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company Limited to develop service abilities for the Boeing Global Fleet Care portfolio, and enhanced component and composite repair capabilities.
