Three Villages liberated in Hama

(MENAFN) The Syrian army and the Resistance forces have released three new villages in the suburbs of Hama in Syria.

The Syrian Arab army, supported by Allied forces, following an intense fighting with Daesh remnants, liberated villages in Maatran, Biwad Safaf and Abu al-Khair in northeastern Hama.

Many terrorists were killed or wounded and their equipment was ruined in these operations, sources on the battlefield said.

Army military engineering units have started demining operations in these villages.
The forces of the Syrian army and allies also liberated several other villages in the northeast suburb of Hama where they captured terrorists.

The operations of the Syrian army and its allies began about three months ago to eradicate Daesh terrorist groups and the al-Nusra Front in the provinces of Hama, Idlib and Aleppo.
