Kuwait: 12,000 investors suffer major losses in Bitcoin
(MENAFN) Al Anba newspaper has reported a loss which roughly 12,000 Kuwaiti investors have suffered on 50% of their portfolio trading worth in the cryptocurrency market.
Bitcoin's value has seen a decline to under $8,000 from its record $19,500 in December.
Investors in Kuwait make up for a 1.5% of cryptocurrencies overall value following the market's decline.
By the end of 2017, the average investment volume has reached $70,000, with Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple breaking their records.
