Kuwait- Ministry receives applications for mobile vehicle permits minister


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4, (Agencies): Mobile vehicle owners can now register their cars at Kuwait Business Center beginning at midnight, Kuwait's Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan said Sunday.

These vehicle permits will create positive ripple effects on the economy and encourage the nation's youth to foray into entrepreneurship, Al-Roudhan, who also serves as Minister of State for Youth Affairs, said in a press conference to open mobile vehicle registration. He spoke of growing demand from youngsters and retirees alike for the licenses, noting that the new permits are designed to motivate fledgling entrepreneurs to dabble in business.

The minister revealed that the mobile vehicles would be used to prop up a wide array of projects including wholesale and culinary businesses, all of which will be funded by the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprise Development.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Owaisi, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's assistant undersecretary for technical assistance and planning, said that the vehicle permits encompass 19 diverse activities to cater to Kuwaiti youth.

On the purpose of a license for mobile vehicles, he said it will go a long way in eliminating any legal or administrative hurdles novice businesspersons often have to deal with when getting a project running.
