Pakistan- Funeral prayers of soldiers martyred in Swat held in Peshawar
(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Funeral prayers of the eleven soldiers, who were martyred in a suicide blast in Swat, performed at Peshawar on Sunday.
Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Corps Commander Peshawar Lt General Nazir Butt attended the funeral.
Eleven soldiers were martyred while 13 others were injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up while they were playing a football in Kabal area of Swat district. After funeral prayers, the deceased were sent to their native towns for burial.
