Pakistan- Qalandar Momand literary services remembered

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PARACHINAR: Speakers at a reference paid tributes to the literary personality, the late Qalandar Momand, for his services in field of Pashtu literature.

The event was organised by local poets, writers and litrary persons in honour of the known personality to pay homage to the man who rendered matchless services for the progress and aggrandisement of the Pushto language and literature.

Professor Liaquat Ali spoke at length about the late poet's approach and scholarly honesty. He said he was a unique critic and a straightforward man who always spoke in the face of those whom he found to be incorrect. The participants said that his services for Pashtu language would never be forgotten.
