Qatar- Defence Minister calls British counterpart Williamson

Doha: H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed AI Attiyah, the Deputy PM and Minister of State for Defence Affairs, made a phone call yesterday morning to Gavin Williamson, UK's Secretary of Defence.

During the call, the two sides discussed bilateral relations in defence and military fields and ways to enhance them in addition to latest updates on Qatar Armed Forces joint armament projects with the United Kingdom.

The UK's secretary of defence was also briefed on the outcomes of the Qatari-US strategic dialogue which was held in Washington by the end of January 2018.
