Qatar participates in expo on agriculture in Turkey
Ankara: Qatar is participating in the 13th International Exhibition for Agriculture and Livestock being held in Izmir, Turkey, with a special pavilion that showcases the most important projects and agricultural services carried out by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
Minister of Municipality and Environment H E Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Qatar attaches great importance to the improvement and development of agriculture and livestock, in order to achieve self-sufficiency in commodities and foodstuffs as part of efforts to achieve food security.
The exhibition is the largest in agriculture and livestock in Turkey. It includes the latest exhibits in the fields of mechanization, agricultural technology, tractors, agricultural machinery, water and irrigation technology, garden equipment, environmental agriculture, animal husbandry, veterinary services, poultry equipment, animal feed and others.
