Kuwaiti amb. praises graduates from NATO Defense College
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ROME, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Ali Al-Khaled Al-Sabah on Saturday hailed outstanding performance of cadets of the Kuwaiti armed forces in courses of the NATO Defense College (NDC).
The envoy attended graduation ceremony of 131 high studies' military graduates.
Among the attendee were Italian guests and military chiefs, invited by Commander of the NATO Defense College, General Chris Whitecross, as well as Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, General Peter Pavel.
In a statement to KUNA, Kuwait's embassy said that the new batch of military graduates included Kuwaiti officer Colonel Raed Mubarak al-Sukran who finished courses of the College for Advanced Military and Diplomatic Studies.
The commander of NDC, General Whitaker, congratulated the Kuwaiti graduates for their remarkable achievements in joining the course.
The regional cooperation courses are the most important NATO academic initiatives with countries participating in the "Mediterranean Dialogue" and "Istanbul Cooperation Initiative," aimed at promoting closer dialogue and intensive cooperation share issues of common concern with Mideast countries.
