Syria's power plant reconstruction could receive help from Russian firm


(MENAFN) TASS news agency reported Russian First Deputy energy Minister Alexander Texler to have confirmed talks of a deal between Russia and Syria.

The minister reportedly declared Russian engineering company Technopromexport to be intending to contribute in rebuilding four thermal power plants in Syria.

A "road map" deal has been inked during this week by the two countries for energy sector partnership.
