Kuwait- Driving license for an Engineer

I have been working as a Civil Engineer in Kuwait for almost 3 years. In my work permit, designation is mentioned as Civil Engineer and I have a valid Engineering degree. But my salary is KD 500 only. Am I eligible for getting a driver's licence in Kuwait. Thank You.

Answer: Yes, as an engineer you are entitled to get a driving licence but as you fall short of the KD 600 per month salary, you need to get an exemption from the General Traffic Department before your application can be processed.
