(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Festival for the Arabian Horse 2018, sponsored by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, kicked off on Friday.
The festival, held at Bait Al-Arab (House of Arabs), includes the Seventh International Championship for Arabian Horses Beauty Contest, scheduled on February 2-3, and the Third All Nations Cup Straight Egyptians, due on February 16-17.
Sheikha Sara Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, the festival general supervisor, said in remarks to KUNA that today's competitions were distinguished particularly the category grouping newly-born foals and fillies.
Up to 289 studs are partaking in the Arabian Horse Festival and 172 others in the Egyptian horses' category. (end) fsa.rk
