IPL auction is done and most franchises have built a strong squad.
Kings XI Punjab were the most active bidders during the auction, since they had retained just one player.
Preity Zinta owned franchise was left with a huge purse and ensured several top players become a part of their squad.
However, this raises one question- who will be their next captain?

Team Kings XI, which have never won an IPL-title, went on a bidding spree, buying 20 players in this auction.
The likes of Rahul, Ashwin, Finch, Gayle, Miller and Yuvraj Singh are all part of this squad.
With the squad comprising of several veterans, it raises the pertinent question who will be the captain. To make it easier, they have revealed 5 obvious candidates.
Yuvraj Singh is front-runner for top job

Kings XI have opted to make one of Yuvraj, Patel, Gayle, Ashwin, and Finch the captain of the franchise.
Yuvraj is the front-runner, having captained them in 2008.
Aaron Finch has captained the Australian T20 side and is also the current vice-captain of the national T20 team.
R Ashwin could be the dark horse and there is no doubt about Gayle's prowess.

Aggressive tactics
After building a star-studded line-up, Kings XI Punjab are in no hurry to appoint their skipper.
With Virender Sehwag as the coach of the franchise, they have opted to go for an aggressive line-up with some T20 veterans and this could be their best shot at the title.
But spoilt by choice, naming the captain is not going to be an easy decision.
