Muscat airport to begin operations at new passenger Terminal B March 20


(MENAFN) Muscat International Airport is set to launch operations at its new passenger Terminal B on 20 March, as declared by Oman's Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC).

The ministry also announced the operations of each incoming and outgoing flight to be moved to the new airport on 20 March.

The objective behind the new airport is to create a landmark of the modern state which His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said aspired to achieve, as stated by Minister of Transport and Communications H E Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim al Futaisi.

The minister further declared the new airport to serve as a significant asset to economy and be in line with the continuous development of civil aviation along with other sectors.
