DOHA: The Ministry of Interior has added two new services to its website and mobile app Metrash 2. New services are related to issuing and reactivating the Residency Permit (RP).
It will enable expatriates to get new residency permit and will allow them to reactivate the RP.
The issuing and reactivating a residence permit number requires completion of medical test. For new RP fingerprinting is needed while in case of reactivating RP, fingerprinting is not needed. Metrash 2 is now available in six languages and its services further include visa, residency, traffic, community police, CID in addition to different inquiry services.These developments are meant to meet 'Qatar e-Government 2020 vision.
