Ghani vows to avenge recent Kabul massacres


(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Monday vowed to avenge the deaths of Afghans in recent terrorist attacks in capital Kabul.

€œI feel the pain of everyone of you. Trust me I will take revenge of the blood of our citizens,€ Ghani told the injured at the Ghazni Amanullah Khan hospital during a visit to inquire after their heath, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.

More than 150 people were killed and nearly 370 others wounded in three major attacks claimed by Taliban and Daesh groups in Kabul within 10 days, with a majority of the victims being civilians.

The president said he would seek revenge of the attacks on their perpetrators

Ghani also appreciated doctors and other health workers of the hospital for the treatment of the injured people and assured them of providing resources they needed.

The doctors said they used all available resources for treatment of the injured people.
