(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Jan 31 (KUNA) -- A new batch of Turkish military reinforcements arrived in the southern state of Kilis on Wednesday morning to bolster Turkish army units on the border with Syria, military sources said.
Anatolia news agency quoted military sources as saying that a convoy of soldiers, armored personnel carriers and tanks arrived in the center of Kilis within the framework of the 'Operation Olive Branch'.
The sources said that the mechanisms were sent to Kilis amid intensive security measures to strengthen the units stationed on the border between Turkey and Syria.(end).
