Sochi Congress on Syria Delayed
(MENAFN) The opening of the Syrian National dialogue Congress in Sochi was delayed due to waiting a number of participants and observers, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday.
Russia Today website quoted Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Artem Kozhin as saying that the Congress will open its doors soon.
The opening session of the Syrian National Dialogue Congress in Sochi was delayed for an hour, SANA delegate to Sochi said earlier.
Activities of the Congress will be officially launched on Tuesday in Sochi city with participation of some 1500 figures representing different parts of the Syrian society and figures from foreign opposition.
