(MENAFN- Pajhwok Afghan News) FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Four people have been killed and as many others wounded as a result of a hill slide in the Kohistan district of northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Tuesday.
A public representative, Mahboob Rahman Talat, told Pajhwok the incident took place at around 3pm on Monday when the men were collecting sand in a valley.
He said four individuals were killed and four others wounded. The condition of three of the injured is said to be critical.
Ahmad Mehr Jawad, the Kohistan district€™s administrative chief, confirmed the hill slide and casualties. A delegation had been dispatched the site to probe the incident, he added.
