Minnesota Monthly Magazine Announces New Senior Editor

MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 29, 2018 /PRNewswire/ --Greenspring Media, the parent company of Minnesota Monthly magazine, welcomes Reed Fischer, as new Senior Editor for Minnesota Monthly magazine. Fischer, formerly Editorial Director of GoMN and a graduate from Skidmore College and the University of Missouri, started his journalism career as a staff writer for Triton Digital Media. He later worked as a music editor for New Times, as well as City Pages. Fischer will lead the strategic content development for Minnesota Monthly magazine in both print and digital forms, beginning at the end of January 2018.

Additionally, Greenspring's Editor of custom publications, Tammy Galvin, has been promoted to Executive Director of Content. Galvin will lead Greenspring Media's team of editors and senior editors. Galvin is a seasoned editor and journalist, with over 25 years in trade and consumer publishing. Galvin has been with Greenspring Media since 2014. Galvin will craft the strategic direction for all content platforms including digital, Minnesota Monthly, Midwest Home, and custom content marketing.

Greenspring Media achieved two major publishing milestones in 2017, with Minnesota Monthly magazine celebrating 50 years of publications and Midwest Home magazine celebrating 25 years.
