Turkey says nearly 600 terrorists killed in Syria

Turkish Armed Forces killed 597 terrorists of Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) and People's Protection Units (YPG) in Syria as part of Operation Olive Branch, said the Turkish General Staff in a message Jan. 29.
On Jan. 20, the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Free Syrian Army, launched the Operation Olive Branch in Afrin, Syria.
Turkish Air Force, during attacks as part of the Operation Olive Branch, hit 44 targets – shelters, weapons depots of PYD/YPG, says the message.
"Thirteen aircraft, which safely returned to bases, participated in the operation."
