Pakistan airline's flights to Kuwait, Salalah suspended

(MENAFN) Planes for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) that are flying to Kuwait and Salalah in Oman have been cancelled.

The airline has already suffered from losses worth over $5 billion, forcing it to suspend flights to New York in 2017.

The carrier declared "passengers of flights for Kuwait and Salalah (Oman), which will be temporarily suspended, will be re-accommodated through convenient alternatives."

Its statement added "however, the resumption of operations will be considered based upon commercial merit and viability."
