Cairo, Jumada I 11, 1439, January 28, 2018, SPA -- As many as 49 vessels transited the Suez Canal today, with a total cargo of 4,000,000 tons.
The north-bound convoy included 24 vessels laden with 2,100,000 tons while the south-bound convoy included 25 vessels carrying 1,900,000 tons, according to a statement by the Suez Canal Authority.
