Michigan: man kills himself after accidentally shooting his friend dead
(MENAFN) Few minutes after he accidentally killed his close friend with a gunshot, Zachary Woodcock shot himself in mourning.
Woodcock was reportedly attending his best friend Richard Skillman's 21st birthday party in northwest of Detroit, Michigan when he took the shot by mistake.
He appeared coming out of his bedroom with a handgun that "went off and struck Mr Skillman in the chest", Saginaw County Sheriff's Lieutenant Mike Gomez confirmed.
Police received a statement from witnesses who reported Woodcock to have stormed out of the apartment as others were helping his best friend, then "they heard a shot, walked out and there he was".
