Oman- OGWA 2018 to open on March 26

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Oman's leading oil and gas exhibition and conference, Oil & Gas West Asia (OGWA) 2018 will kick start on March 26 under the auspices of H E Mohammed al Zubair, advisor to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for economic planning affairs.

The three-day event will be organised by Oman Expo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Oil and Gas and Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The exhibition, at which more than 300 public and private organisations from different parts of the world will take part, stretches over 22,000sqm providing an opportunity to exchange expertise and review latest technologies.

The event targets companies from the GCC, Asia, Europe and Africa, which provide a rich market for the products and services of the Omani oil and gas companies.

OGWA 2018 is the biggest event for international oil and gas companies as well as oil and gas technology and service suppliers in Oman. The participants will discuss a range of issues related to this important sector and will share views on the developments and challenges they are facing.

The conference and exhibition will provide an ideal opportunity to promote oil and gas investment opportunities among local and foreign investors. The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition organised, in coordination with the SPE under the theme 'Enhanced Oil Recovery'.

The event also includes a panel discussion on March 25, prior to the opening of the conference, under the auspices of the Minister of Oil and Gas. The panel discussion will cover many key issues for the sector.
