Defence minister: His Highness the Amir guardian of Kuwait
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Jan 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said Sunday that Kuwait's history will proudly celebrate the blessed march of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his continuous efforts to maintain and guard Kuwait's stability and achieve prosperity for its people.
Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad told KUNA on Sunday, on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of His Highness the Amir's inauguration on January 29, 2006, that His Highness the Amir is the guardian of Kuwait and will always be a leading example of generousity, and sacrifice in serving his country and people, including relentless efforts to ensure Kuwait's standing among nations and to strengthen its presence in international arenas.
The minister stressed that His Highness the Amir has the wisdom and insight and great ambitions for his country and people.
Sheikh Nasser noted that the Amir continues to work for the bright future for his sons and daughters in Kuwait, and for future generations, and to embark on a strategic leap and vision that promises an unprecedented developmental renaissance era for Kuwait and its people in the years to come.
