Afghanistan- Finance Minister Visits Ongoing Uplift Projects in Laghman
(MENAFN- Daily Outlook Afghanistan) KABUL - Minister of Finance EklilHakimi has reviewed progress on a string of ongoing development projects during his visit to eastern Laghman province.
Governor AbulJabbarNaeemi, General Director of Civil Aviation Authority Mahmood Shah Habibi and MPs Amir Khan Yar and Mohammad Hassan Mamomzai accompanied the minister.
A statement from the Ministry of Finance said provincial council members, government officials and tribal elders also accompanied Hakimi.
The minister visited different projects including an airport for the four eastern provinces, two dams, a solar energy scheme, a park, roads, a water supply system and the Laghman University campus.
He also reviewed work on a cricket stadium, an administrative complex for the governor's office, reconstruction of an ancient fort, garden, a gymnasium and other ongoing projects were visited. (Pajhwok)
