Dubai: Ibn Battuta Mall records 21 million arrivals
(MENAFN) Dubai shopping destination Ibn Battuta Mall was revealed to have reached 21 million visitors last year.
The mall is part of a shopping destination for Nakheel Malls, it released a statement saying the achievement had been a result of tourist arrivals and the latest residential developments, among other factors.
"2017 was a tremendous year of growth for Nakheel Malls. At Ibn Battuta Mall, the surge in tourists and tenants, and expansion of new residential developments in surrounding areas all led to a record year, with more 21 million visitors," Nakheel Malls' managing director Omar Khoory stated.
He further added "we continue to focus on delivering world-class experiences, at a growing number of locations across Dubai, through a combination of unmatched entertainment, retail and dining destinations."
