German president begins official visit to Jordan

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan 27 (Petra) –– German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife arrived in Amman on Saturday on a several-day official visit to the Kingdom.

The German leader will hold talks with His Majesty King Abdullah II on the partnership relations between Jordan and Germany and the current regional and international developments.

Minister of Water and Irrigation Hazem Al Nasser, head of protocol, led a reception ceremony for the German president upon his arrival at the Marca Military Airport, where a number of civic and military officials were also on hand to welcome him.
