(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) LONDON, Jan 25 (KUNA) -- KUNA's Chairman and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah stressed on the important role played by KUNA's offices abroad to support Kuwait's interests.
KUNA's offices work side to side with Kuwait's embassies to achieve the country's interests, Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij said in a press statement during his visit to KUNA's office in London on Thursday.
He noted the importance of cooperation and communication between the office and Kuwait Embassy in London.
The KUNA chief also called on the offices to cover news with transparency and speed to allow the agency in Kuwait to publish its news items on time.
In the same context, Kuwaiti Ambassador to the UK Khaled Al-Duweisan held a dinner banquet in the honor of Sheikh Mubarak Al-Duaij last night, attended by KUNA's delegation, members of Kuwait's offices in London and embassy staff. (end) kd.ag
