Social media influencers budgets to go up this year

(MENAFN) The Online Project, which works with brands in countries that include UAE and Saudi Arabia, released the result of its recent study which found that social media influencer marketing budgets are expected to see a boost this year.

The research showed nearly 25% of markets in the past twelve months to have exhausted more than $25,000 in influencer marketing initiatives.

Marketers aren't that invested in employing freebies, invitations and compliments to compensate influencers, the Online Project CEO and co-found Ramzi Halaby pointed out.

He further stated "marketers increasingly find themselves competing with other brands for influencers' attention and commitment, which naturally gives these the power to negotiate cash deals. Cash is now on the rise, and represents 43 percent of how marketers compensate influencers."
