Kuwait- 'MoH has right to impose fees on health services'


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Jan 22: The Fatwa and Legislative Department on behalf of the government has submitted a plea to the Court of Appeals with a request to uphold the verdict of the lower court which has rejected the lawsuit filed by lawyer Hashem Al-Rifaei against the Health Ministry refuting the increase in the health fees for foreigners, reports Al-Anba daily. The defense in its plea said the Ministry of Health has the right to impose fees on services, saying the Kuwaiti Constitution gives the mandate to the government indirectly which authorizes it to exercise whatever within its power
