(MENAFN) United States President Donald Trump has made a phone call to the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah today to discuss issues in the region, according to a report from Al Qabas newspaper.
The phone call was dedicated to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries as well as regional developments.
During the phone call, the two leaders focused on issues of mutual concerns, where the White House said that Trump had took the opportunity to congratulate Sheikh Sabah on his country's seat as non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
