First Del Monte F&B store in Qatar launched at HIA
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The first Del Monte F & B store in Qatar has opened at Hamad
International Airport (HIA). Located in Concourse A, near Gate A3, the
Del Monte store is the newest addition to more than 30 cafes and
restaurants currently at the airport.
The menu offers a combination of ultra-fresh juices, smoothies and freshly made salads, sandwiches, wraps and muffins.
HIA offers 40,000sq m of combined retail, food and beverage facilities and is partnering with a wide diversity of brands to meet the airport customers' taste and preferences.
'The passenger is at the heart of HIA's growth strategy. HIA is continuously investing a lot of efforts to improve its hospitality offer to passengers transiting through the airport from all corners of the globe, Abdulaziz al-Mass, HIA's vice president for commercial and marketing said.
'Diversity of food and beverage is part of the dining experience offered by HIA. We are conscious that healthy food is extremely important for travellers on-the-go and are glad to welcome the first Del Monte F & B store in Qatar at the airport, he added.
As Qatari entrepreneurs are actively looking to attract international businesses in the country, HIA is fully supporting this initiative.
With its target of serving more than 50mn passengers, HIA is currently a candidate for the 'Best Airport in the World award by Skytrax which also classified it as a five-star airport in 2017, making it one among only five other airports in the world to achieve this prestigious status.
