Turkish coastguards rescue 49 illegal migrants in Aegean Sea
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ISTANBUL, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- The Turkish coastguards have rescued 49 illegal migrants in the Aegean Sea on Tuesday, who were stranded on rocks as they attempted to seek refuge in Greece.
"The rescue operation showed coastguards airlifting a child as others waited on the rocks next to a partially deflated rubber dinghy," said The state-run Anadolu agency.
