(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nahyan held talks Monday with Miroslav Lajcak, President of the UN General Assembly, on promotion of coooperation through humanitarian and development partnerships.
The two men met in Abu Dhabi on sidelines of the General Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE was keen on strengthening partnerships with international organizations dealing with sustainable development.
Lajcak thanked the UAE for its role in development and humanitarian affairs. (end) bsu.bs
