Saudi temporary prison to reopen its hotel gates


(MENAFN) During Saudi Arabia's unrest over corruption, the luxury Riyadh hotel was used as a prison and next month, it will reopen its gates next month.

As the government started the purge in November, a number of princes, senior officials and top businessmen were detained and restricted in the opulent Ritz-Carlton Riyadh.

From Febbruary 14, the hotel's website currently receives bookings, quoting a nightly rate for its cheapest room of 2,439 riyals ($650), according to Reuters.
