Oman- ABA student honoured with 'Youth Award'


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- Santrupth G R Vedanthi, a student of ABA School Muscat, has been awarded the 'Youth Award' for his contribution to charity through his work in the field of music.

The young musician was presented with the award by H E Indra Mani Pandey, Ambassador of India to Oman, at an event organised in association with Oman Hockey Association. He was also bestowed with the award for his outstanding performance and achievements in the field of music.

A spokesperson for the organisers of the event said, 'We are happy to honour an exceptional young man who has been enriching the hearts of the community through his music and charity work. We are pleased to recognise a youngster with a vision and passion to serve the society. Vedanthi has been using his zeal for music to raise funds for charitable causes. His inspirational journey is an example of how youngsters with passion coupled with determination can do good in the society.'

Vedanthi said, 'I am touched by the honour and I am grateful for this recognition. I am inspired to do more and will continue to give back to the community.' His life is a whirl of action with academics, music lessons, concerts and fund raising.
